Does ‘Freedom’ Really Exist?
Lockdown has been a difficult journey for many, making a re-evaluation of life-choices the norm. Freedom after lockdown will have a very different feel in our hearts and minds. Perhaps this is due to most of us learning to appreciate being alive. Maybe with all this adversity, we have become more humble. Learning to value life so much more than before is a familiar feeling. However, that real sense of the word ‘freedom’ is slightly stained. The statement ‘freedom after lockdown’ could be false. Do we believe that can happen? It’s evident to many that the ‘in-control’ feeling we had on our lives before, is not so transparent as we once thought.
