It was a daring leap that pushed me to discover who I am. Taking my life into my own hands, I became the fearless author of my own story. On my journey, I have experienced challenges, transformations and a whole lot of fun as I created this beautiful life and defined what true happiness means to me.
With no job, no place to live and no true plans, I packed everything in my car at 21 years old and headed to Colorado, leaving my family and everything I had known behind in Utah. It was an enormous step into the unknown, but it led to the greatest journey of self-discovery.
Leaving Utah was about more than just physical relocation; it was about finding my true self and identity. I wanted to see what life was like outside the culture I had grown up in. Since I was 14 years old, I knew I didn’t fit the script for what was expected of me. Back then, the only path presented to me was to get married and have children. Deep down, I knew there was so much more out there for me. I began to embrace a "screw what other people think" mentality, wanting to find out what made ME happy rather than doing what other people told me to.
For my entire childhood, I had watched my father, the happiest person I know, live life with boundless enthusiasm. He wakes up every day brimming with joy and maintains that spirit all day long, even at 93 years old today. When I arrived in my new home in Colorado, I wanted to find that same zest for life. I wanted to wake up each morning with a sense of purpose and happiness, just like my father.
As I began to rebuild my life, I leaned into therapy and worked through the tough emotions I carried with me. In my hometown, I was surrounded by people all with the same beliefs and way of doing things; however, in Colorado, I was met with open-mindedness and a true sense of freedom. It took years for me to figure out what my values, interests and passions were as an individual.
What I found was a fiery, tenacious person who loves to be challenged and face obstacles head-on. That part of me has always been there, but to finally embrace my authentic self was liberating. I had aspirations and a true drive to get the most out of life. As a single mom, I worked very hard, first as a legal secretary, before building a real estate career. It was never easy, but it was MY life, and I had full control of it.
In nearly every aspect of my life, I have set a simple rule: I will only do something if it is fun and has a positive impact. Because our time here is precious, so we ought to make every moment count! For me, that means spending time with my friends and family, helping my community and pursuing my passion for real estate. I truly enjoy solving problems and being the ultimate resource for my clients.
A core part of my identity is my red hair because it symbolizes the spunky, exciting and enthusiastic energy I carry with me every day. Redhead Luxury Properties is representative not only of the lasting impression I hope to make, but also of the lifelong impact I have on my clients as I help them through each new chapter in life, offering my unwavering support and resources.
My commitment to giving back extends beyond my clients. I've been deeply involved in various outreach and volunteering efforts. For over a decade, I served as the president of the Thornton Lions Club and organized fundraisers for causes close to my heart. Whether it's fundraising for the Denver Autobahn, supporting the Morgan Adams Foundation, or hosting events like Chili, Booze and Brews, I'm always working to help my community while also having fun and bringing people together!
Life is all about having fun and experiencing love, but it is also about our positive impact on the world. Through real estate, I have a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those I serve. I am drawn to people who share my philosophy for life, and I aim to gather them as clients and build meaningful relationships with them. I believe in standing by my principles and representing my clients’ best interests, always.
What I love about selling real estate is helping people achieve their dreams. From cash investors to first-time home buyers, my passion is driven by knowing I can make an impact on the success of a transaction and positively shape the outcome of the process. I've always seen real estate as a puzzle. Every transaction is like a complex jigsaw, and my goal is to piece it together until we reach that satisfying closing. When the transaction is over, I remain in your corner, ready to offer you resources and answer questions as you embrace this new chapter!
